Dr DeAnn Bell is the Community & Education officer for Llandudno Museum and Gallery where she is responsible for school visits, student placements, museum education, and community events. She has BA in Creative Writing with English and a PhD in Creative and Critical Writing from Bangor University. Her PhD research focused on the integration of marginalised literature into the English literary canon. She is a mentor for Venue Cymru’s Young Theatre Critics and has an extensive background in university and community teaching in North Wales. In addition to working with Women’s Archive Wales, she is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a member of the National Association for Writers in Education, and a member of GEM (Group for Education in Museums). She’s a passionate advocate of student-led learning and inclusive teaching.
